“Passion for food” These words represent Bauke Wassenaar. After his study “Agribusiness” at the Agricultural University Wageningen, he enjoyed his first job as a market researcher in the fruit and vegetable industry nearby Rotterdam. He switched after 2.5 years towards the family owned multinational company Farm Frites International. A company with 8 factories present in 3 continents, producing a complete range of potato products and exporting towards 120 countries. From Bauke’s initial role as Product Manager through to his current role as Commercial Director, he has built up an extensive knowledge of the International Food Market, and managed the challenges in the Out of Home market in particular.
